Essex Self Storage is a family owned and operated self storage company serving customers in Illinois. If you are looking for secure storage and affordable rates then Essex Self Storage is for you. We can store furniture, boats, cars, 4-wheelers, and camping equipment just to name a few.

In 1997, we put our first building up and we now have 219 storage units, most of which are 10’x30′ all of which have a 6-foot security fence surrounding the entire facility. There is also 40 feet in front of every stall for backing boats or trailers and we are happy to back your boat in for you if you would like.

Our concrete floors have a 1 1/2″ drop-off under the garage doors. This keeps rain from forcing its way into the stalls. Sodium vapor lights surround the facility making it easy to see at night. Each unit has electronically controlled lights inside and the ceilings are insulated to prevent condensation from dripping on hot summer days.

* 10’x30′

Our 10’x20′ and 10’x30′ units have a 9’x9′ garage door to make it easy to get things in and out. Also, the 10’x10′ units have an 8’x8′ garage door to make coming and going just as easy. We are happy to provide 24-hour access!
